I have a friend named *EmperorNortonII. He's an excellent artist and comic artist as well! When I didn't make the kiribian at one time, I got a nice consolation prize for trying to win.

Now I know what you're all thinking. It's empty. But I've decided to do something nice for him. Which is why I'm having this contest!

It's pretty cool, huh? But there's something missing... a group pic of characters! So this is the theme for my contest:

There will be 3 rounds:

ROUND 1: Line Art
ROUND 2: Coloring
ROUND 3 (FINAL ROUND): *EmperorNortonII's Choice

Ok, everyone. Here's the line art objective for Round 1: It's a group pic line art! But... there's a catch, you have to draw the characters that I give you.

For those of you who wanna know how to draw Looney Tunes, just go down and you'll see a link that says "How to draw Looney Tunes". Just click on that and if you get sent to a page where you have to download something, just click on the download link. It should be helpful for all of you.

Here are some rules for Round 1:

-You all don't have to draw all of the characters if you don't want to. But you can draw as many of the characters as you want. But here's the catch, I will be giving out points for each character you draw. Each character will be worth 5 Points. Since Wile E. & Road Runner are two characters, they will be worth 2 points. If it's possible for you to draw all of the Looney Tunes characters, you'll be given 15 points. But If you think you got what it takes to draw all 23 characters, then you'll be given 20 points. But be warned, if you draw Sonic & Amy without Shadow and Rouge, or if you draw Shadow & Rouge without Sonic & Amy, or even if you draw Ash & Misty without Pikachu, or most definitely draw Pikachu without Ash & Misty, 5 points (for 1 character) or 10 points (for 2 characters) will de-ducted from your score. You can at least have one of 2 of the Looney Tunes pair ups for the group (Example: Wile E. Coyote & Road Runner or Sylvester & Tweety/Speedy).

-In order for the group pic to count, I want either all of the Looney Tunes characters drawn all together or all 23 characters from the list for a group pic.

-I'll award bonus points if you dress up the characters in either one of the tuxedos as seen from above.

Examples for Bonus Points:

-There's a 25 combo bonus point reward if you can draw all 23 characters from the list in tuxedos, provided you give Elmer his hunter's cap, Yosemite Sam his cowboy hat, Marvin his helmet, Speedy and Slowpoke their sombreros and Ash his Pokemon Trainer's hat from either one of the Pokemon regions (Indigo, Hoenn or Sinnoh). Remember it's 20 points for drawing all 23 characters plus 5 bonus points for drawing them in one of tuxedos from the list above. Remember the math: (20+5)

-Also, there's 2 ways to get 20 points and the second way is to draw all of the Looney Tunes Characters in one of the tuxedos from the list above. Remember the math: 15 for drawing all Looney Tune Characters and 5 for drawing them in one of the tuxedos from the list above. Remember the math: (15+5)

-You can try to draw all the characters all together or separately.

-But when you do them separately, be sure to combine all the separate characters in a group. But here's the thing that you might wanna pay attention to:

-Small characters like Tweety, Speedy, Slowpoke and Pikachu must be seen. So you might wanna put them up front.

For some other info:

-Be sure to give Speedy and Slowpoke their sombreros, give Elmer Fudd his hunter's hat (if you want to), give Yosemite Sam his cowboy hat and give Ash Ketchum his cap from the Indigo League, the Hoenn League or the Sinoh League.

-And whatever you do, don't add a background. I've already have the background ready for it. Just draw the characters.

Now as you all know Line Art, is like a sketch but with no color. Now I want this line art to be smooth, not pixelated. Smooth. Look some of the other deviant's line arts for examples of pixelated and smooth line arts.

When you're finished with the pic, comment either in my journal entry or on my profile to show me what you've done. When I see it, I'll make a list of the Round 1 entries for judges and I to decide if it's good or not.

-If you don't get your entry done on time, I'll give as much time as you can take to get it done. But for every 5 days after Nov. 30th that you work on, there'll be a 1 point deduction. So try to get done as fast as you can.

Here's what the judges will do: They comment on the contestants' pics. Then they will rate the pic with this rating thing-a-ma-bob: 0/10. Much better than stars.

The rate number goes from 1 to 10.

When the judges do their part, it will be my turn to see how well they drew. The number scale goes from 1 to 10. Whatever the number of the rating is, is the worth of points you get. Then after the contestants get their points from the judges and from myself, I will add them all up and see what their score is. The contests who have the highest score/amount of stars will advance to Round 2. Be on the look out for a "Multiplier and/or Adding" Symbols next to the number rater, you'll be able to score bonus points if you happen to do any of the bonus points info from above.

This will be a tough first round, but only 6 will advance to Round 2! Good luck, contestants! And remember, the ones who make the neatest and non-pixelated line art, will advance to the next round. Whilst the other 3 will get a constellation prize of their choice for competing in my contest.

THE RULES OF THE CONTEST

1. THE RULES OF BEING A CONTESTANT
1. You must have excellent drawing skills.
2. You must have a scanner and some sort of photoshop program. (Examples: Adobe Photoshop, Paint.NET, GIMP, or the online photoshop, SUMO Paint) It's very important to have a scanner and a photoshop, paint like program.
3. Whenever you finished your entry, please comment on my profile or send me a note so the judges and I can see what you made.

2. RESIGNATIONS AND FORFEITING THE CONTEST

1. If A Prize Artist or Judge should happen to leave my contest, he or she must send me a note of an excuse for leaving the contest and they must find a suitable substitute to take their place as a prize artist or a judge.

2. If a contestant cannot continue with the contest, he or she must send me a note of an excuse for the resigning or forfeiting the contest.

3a. VITALLY IMPORTANT: Due to the last contest being canceled due to having 5 contestants left, I've added a Contest Cancellation Meter. I can only keep my contest going as long as I have 10, 9, 8, 7 or 6 contestants.

3b. WARNING: The 5th contestant who either resigns, forfeits or quits my first contest Mk.II, will have to tell everyone, the judges, the prize artists and the contestants that the contest will be canceled and apologize to everyone who was in my contest.

3. THE CONTEST CANCELLATION METER

The Contest Cancellation Meter is an invention I made just to make sure that if in the event I should get 5 more resignations from the contestants like last time, . This contest will have 5 lives to keep itself alive. If any contestant decide to resign or forfeit or quit the contest, I'll change the 'O' to an 'X'. If there are 5 x's, the contest is automatically canceled. I'm trying to keep this contest alive this time. I don't wanna have 5 or less contestants in my contest like last time. If I get 5 contestants, there wouldn't be any rounds for the contestants to move on. I need to keep this alive by having 6 or more or at least 10 contestant in order to keep this contest alive.

PRIZES OF THE CONTEST

Consolation Prizes in Rounds 1 & 2: The other contestants who didn't get to make it into Round 2 or the final round will get make 1 request from any one of the Prize Artists or they can pick one of any LT&MM titles they want from The list of unfinished LT&MM Titles. And they will also keep me on their deviantWATCH.

Final Round Prizes

1st Place in Final Round: His or her pic will be featured in my 100th Deviation and in a special surprise deviation, He or she will make 3 art requests from any Prize Artists that he/she chooses and he/she will pic 3 of any LT&MM titles from the list of unfinished LT&MM Titles. And he or she will also keep me on their deviantWATCH and for the most special prize of all, he or she will be an Admin in this forum: [link]

2nd Place in Final Round:
His or her pic will be featured in my 200th Deviation, He or she will make 2 art requests from any Prize Artists that he/she chooses and he/she will pic 2 of any LT&MM titles from the list of unfinished LT&MM Titles. 3rd Place in Final Round:
His or her pic will be featured in my 300th Deviation, he or she will make 1 art request from any Prize Artists that he/she chooses and he/she will pic 1 of any LT&MM titles from the list of unfinished LT&MM Titles. And they will also keep me on their deviantWATCH.
